There are plenty of things to do in Lancaster, from exploring the towpaths, strolling beside the river Lune or admiring the views from the spectacular Lune Aqueduct.  You’ll find sports facilities and swimming pools dotted around the city including the Salt Ayre leisure centre and Lancaster University Sports Centre. And, as you’d expect in a thriving city there are plenty of places to eat and drink, including traditional pubs like the nearby Greaves Park which serves excellent pub classics in a parkland setting.

Out and about
