CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY TO LICHFIELD RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…where a retirement community in Lichfield has come together to enjoy a magical afternoon of festivities and where they really got into the ‘Christmas swing of it’.

Local retirees at the McCarthy Stone Stowe Place Retirement Living Plus development, recently hosted some fabulous yuletide celebrations with festive tipples a plenty and a live performance by Swing singer, Sammy Dean. 

Guests used the opportunity to experience a guided tour of Stowe Place and its array of facilities to help make life easier. Laura Pittaway, Divisional Marketing Manager at McCarthy Stone, said: “Christmas is a special time for many of us, and our celebrations captured the true spirit of the season, which is spending quality time with friends and loved ones, and showing kindness and gratitude. “It was lovely to bring retirees together from in and around Lichfield to spread the Christmas cheer. This is just one of many events at Stowe Place designed to reduce loneliness and isolation, and we look forward to hosting many more in the near future.
