Living in Virginia Water
Virginia Water is located on the outskirts of London, with Victoria Station and London Waterloo less than an hour away by train. It's known for Virginia Water Lake in the nearby Windsor Great Park and was made famous as the setting for some of the Harry Potter and Robin Hood scenes. The circuit around the lake is approximately 4.5 miles and features a 100-foot totem pole, a little waterfall, an obelisk raised by George II, and part of a ruined city imported from North Africa.
The town also has a strong golfing connection - the local Wentworth Club features four golf courses, it is home to the PGA European Tour headquarters and the Ryder Cup was first played in Virginia Water. Golf aside, those seeking spa breaks or stately manor dining, can enjoy Great Fosters or Foxhills club and resort, both within a short distance from the development. The town is also a celebrity hotspot, with Sir Elton John, Cliff Richard and Bill Bryson all having lived here at some point.
- Conveniently situated close to these local amenities:
- Bus stop
