McCarthy Stone Foundation - Making a difference in communities around the country

We have provided grants and assistance to over 40 small, local charities and community groups. This includes providing vital support to older people throughout the pandemic, donating over £90,000 in grant funding to projects, supporting charities with construction and renovation work, and unlocking thousands of hours in volunteering through our employer supported volunteering programme.

Driven by our desire to support the health and well-being of older people, we are actively looking for small, grassroots community organisations to support, who engage young and old in inter-generational activities, or where community regeneration can help make sure that spaces remain in use for those who rely on them for connection and purpose.

You can help make a difference

With your support, we can reach more community groups and causes in desperate need of funds. One of the easiest ways is by playing our weekly lottery. There is a £25,000 jackpot, and every week one of our supporters is guaranteed to win the weekly cash prize. It costs just £1 a week to play, and has already raised more than £8,000. To sign up visit onelottery.co.uk.

“Your straightforward and supportive approach has enabled us to reach out into our community and support raising additional funds to help us get back on our feet – this has made a world of difference in being able to move forward – thank you.”

- Swindon Samaritans

“The Foundation supported us at our greatest time of need with ongoing costs. Many trusts won’t support ongoing costs. We have an excellent service, carrying out vital work which we simply need to keep going.”

- Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust
