Our new retirement community in Southampton enjoyed music and more
We welcomed some very special guests to May Tree Place, a Retirement Living PLUS community for the over 70s in Southampton, Hampshire. Homeowners and visitors enjoyed live tunes from Michael Bublé tribute, Tom Carpenter, who won acclaim on the television show The Voice, plus a delicious buffet made by the talented bistro chefs and, of course, lots of fizz.
We were also delighted to be joined by the Lord Mayor of Southampton, David Shields (pictured above with the McCarthy Stone team). David was returning after cutting the ribbon at the development’s Grand Opening last September.
The celebratory event was open to local retirees, as Rebecca Johnson, Sales Director for McCarthy Stone, explains, “This was a fantastic opportunity for local retirees to experience for themselves what life at a McCarthy Stone development is like, so they can easily picture themselves enjoying life here at May Tree Place.”
