Homeowners and staff at McCarthy Stone’s Augustus House Retirement Living Plus development, on Station Parade in Virginia Water, opened their doors to local retirees for live jazz music and cocktails.
Guests who attended the special event enjoyed a fantastic afternoon sipping a variety of cocktails in the social lounge, while also enjoying live entertainment, provided by MPR Jazz.
Guests were able to take a closer look at Augustus House as the event provided the opportunity to take a tour of the show complex, meet the McCarthy Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.
Kevin Sims, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy Stone South East, said: “Our cocktail afternoon was a great success. Everyone enjoyed learning more about the cocktails from The Great Mobile Bar Company, and MPR Jazz put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests.
“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Augustus House and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”
Comprising a selection of 59 one and two bedroom Retirement Living Plus apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 70 and over, Augustus House provides everything homeowners could want for a relaxing retirement.
