Middlewich retirees raise a toast to friendship, fun and laughter at special garden party
Described as ‘vibrant, lively and enjoyed by all’, retirees across Middlewich joined local homeowners at McCarthy Stone’s Roman Court Retirement Living development to celebrate what was hoped to be the warm weather. But rain didn’t stop play as we moved the party indoors to the communal lounge.
There was a hum of excited chatter as guests sipped Pimms, enjoyed a fantastic buffet from the local pub the Boars Head and sang along with a live performance from a local group, the Lostock Ukes who also raise funds for the local St Lukes Hospice.
Joanne Spencer, Area Sales Manager at McCarthy Stone, said: “Roman Court is a community of friends, and it was a pleasure to welcome locals from across Middlewich to experience this first hand.
“Seeing everyone come together to celebrate the Summer was a great reflection of what we’re all about here at McCarthy Stone. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day even more special.”
