Studley Bowls Club bowled over by McCarthy Stone’s £600 donation
Studley Entaco Bowls Club has received a £600 donation from McCarthy Stone to support various improvement projects at the club. This contribution is part of a year-long sponsorship deal with the Retirement Living development, Priory Place in Studley, Warwickshire, highlighting McCarthy Stone’s commitment to fostering community connections.
The bowls club, which has been a vital part of the Studley community for over 70 years, proudly hosts around 50 active members, some of whom compete at county and national levels. As a Community Amateur Sports Club, it relies on fundraising and donations to enhance its facilities for the benefit of all.
The funding will go towards several projects, including the installation of a rainwater system, solar panels, and a new driveway. Match secretary Mike Bell expressed his appreciation, stating, “We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to McCarthy Stone for their generous support. These donations are essential for maintaining high-quality facilities and ensuring our club remains a welcoming place for all.”
David Meachem, Divisional Sales Director at McCarthy Stone, emphasised the importance of supporting local initiatives. “We’re delighted to contribute to the Studley Entaco Bowls Club and help improve its facilities, enhancing the experience for both members and visitors.”
In addition to its community support, McCarthy Stone continues to provide high-quality retirement living options at Priory Place. Designed for those aged 60 and over, the development features luxury retirement apartments, social spaces, and landscaped gardens, promoting a vibrant and engaging lifestyle for its residents.
