Living in Studley

Despite being a village, you won’t be short of things to do in Studley. You’ll find plenty of places to eat and drink, like the popular Miller & Carter Washford Mill which offers classic British food in a beautiful location overlooking the River Arrow – it even has a waterwheel.  Other popular venues are the Mt Everest Indian restaurant and independent and earth-friendly Bumbles Coffee House which also runs local events. Then of course there’s Studley Castle, a grand 19th Century mansion and gardens that is now home to a luxury hotel offering high-end restaurants, decadent afternoon tea and an indulgent spa.

There are plenty of walks to be enjoyed in and around Studley which take in the glorious rolling countryside and farmland, including the Studley Circular, a moderately easy eight-mile trail.
