Homeowners and staff at McCarthy Stone’s St Albans Retirement Living Plus development, Eleanor House, on London Road, recently invited local retirees to put on their dancing shoes for a spectacular afternoon of ballroom dancing.
Guests who attended the special event enjoyed two impressive performances from professional dancers, Chris and Emma; and, after wowing everyone with their Waltz and Rumba amongst others, the professionals demonstrated some popular moves to help attendees improve their own footwork technique.
As well as dancing the afternoon away, guests were able to take a closer look at Eleanor House. The event provided the opportunity to take a tour the show complex, meet the McCarthy Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.
Tracey Muponda, Estates Manager for McCarthy Stone, said: “Our ballroom dancing event was a great success. Chris and Emma put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests, and everyone loved getting involved. If people were not up and dancing, then they were certainly tapping their toes.
“The event was also a good opportunity for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Eleanor House, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”
