Katherine popped by for a tour of Balshaw Court in Leyland, Lancashire, a Retirement Living Plus development, which offers a mix of one and two-bedroom retirement homes designed to meet the needs of the over 70s. 
 
Katherine commented: “I really enjoyed coming back to Balshaw Court to meet residents and answer their questions. It was great to visit the place again, having been before during construction, seeing the innovations like solar panels integrated into the roof. I had a really interesting conversation with residents, answering questions about what’s important to them like getting a proper crossing to access the bus to Preston and the new hospital coming to South Ribble…The team running Balshaw Court are doing a fantastic job and it was really nice to hear how much everyone enjoys the community there.”
