SUNDERLAND RETIREES MEET BBC’S DAVID HARPER AT RETIREMENT COMMUNITY OPENING
Retirees in Sunderland had the chance to meet BBC’s David Harper last week as he officially opened the latest McCarthy Stone Retirement Living development, Herriot Gardens.
Joined by current homeowners and perspective buyers, David performed a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, kick starting the celebrations at the development on Grey Road.
Visitors were invited to a tour of the professionally styled show apartments, and served drinks and refreshments on arrival. David also provided stories and a short presentation on his life and career over the years.
