Living in Warlingham

Warlingham is a quiet little village in the Green Belt, which offers beautiful views across the surrounding woodlands and nature parks, but also access to metropolitan London. A highly sought-after recreational destination, the Green Belt boasts many charming walks and trails leading from Warlingham to neighbouring villages that make for a pleasant day out. Woldingham Valley, designated both a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just a short distance away.

Warlingham village is set round a triangular, tree-lined village green and is known for its local community spirit and traditional village life. The town is well-equipped, with a hall, several shops and boutiques, and a selection of restaurants and smaller eateries. Warlingham also boasts four different pubs, catering for every occasion and budget, from a quick bite out to celebratory lunches. To the south of the green is School Common, an open recreational area featuring a pretty wildlife pond.

There are several golf clubs and courses within driving distance, the closest being Woldingham Golf Club. The famous Royal Air Force Station Kenley is just adjacent and Croydon is a short bus ride away, with its shopping centre, entertainment attractions and cultural sights. Warlingham has two railway stations - Upper Warlingham station is 1.2 miles from the development, while Whyteleafe South station is nearer still - so it's easy to get to Sanderstead and East Croydon, or straight into London.
