The Pottery Official Opening
Local historians and joint Chairs of the Clevedon Civic Society Local History Group, Jane Lilly and Janet Wildgoose, have joined homeowners, staff, and guests for the Official Opening of an exclusive new retirement community in the town.
Jane and Janet cut the ribbon to launch the celebrations at The Pottery, a Retirement Living Plus development on Kenn Road by McCarthy Stone, the leading developer and manager of retirement communities.
Attendees were able to ‘Taste the Lifestyle’ that can be found at a McCarthy Stone development, with complimentary lunch from the on-site bistro and entertainment from Jodie Elms, who performed popular jazz and modern swing hits. Attendees enjoyed a glass of fizz, and many of the visitors were able to take the chance to tour the development where an enviable retirement lifestyle is on offer, pairing top-quality homes with maximum independence and personalised support where needed.
