The BBC TV's Antiques Expert, David Harper, joined retirees in Darlington to celebrate the grand opening of McCarthy Stone’s new Retirement Living development, Swinden Court, located on Trinity Road.
David Harper gave a presentation to discuss his life as one of TV's most prominent antiques experts and provided stories from his extensive career.
Guests were given a tour of the professionally-styled show complex and they also took a closer look at the stylish Homeowners lounge – all whilst enjoying a glass of fizz and light refreshments.
