Salisbury Development Unveils Special Floral Display to Celebrate 100th Milestone

McCarthy Stone, has unveiled an impressive floral display at Monument Place in Salisbury to celebrate the fact that the new development is McCarthy Stone’s 100th Retirement Living Plus community. The unique display, which sees ‘100’ marked out in flowers, is now on show for residents and guests to enjoy in the landscaped gardens to the entrance of the Monument Place development.

Just last month, Salisbury MP and Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Glen MP, paid a visit to the Endless Street site, where he described it as “an excellent solution for those looking to enjoy an independent and active lifestyle in retirement” in Salisbury.

Nicki Beswarick, Divisional Marketing Manager at McCarthy Stone Southern, commented: “The Retirement Living Plus scheme at Monument Place offers additional care and support for residents that need it, whilst also ensuring they can continue living independently, which is very important to our residents. We are committed to designing flexible homes within a safe and supported community, with the added peace of mind knowing there’s help at hand if needed, and Monument Place truly epitomises this.

“The launch of the development is a very exciting time for our business, and we wanted to celebrate Monument Place becoming our 100th Retirement Living Plus development by creating a long-lasting legacy. We hope our residents enjoy our special and unique flower display for many years to come.

The launch of Monument Place also marks one year since McCarthy Stone brought all of its Management Services in-house. At the Monument Place Retirement Living Plus development, this presents a unique proposition which bridges the gap between conventional retirement living and residential care.

A dedicated team will be available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to directly oversee the running and maintenance of the development including gardening, the up-keep of shared areas and exteriors, and security such as emergency call-systems and door camera entry systems. A friendly Estate Manager will also be available to answer any questions, sort any problems and help with planning social events.

Alongside its collection of Retirement Living Plus developments, McCarthy Stone also manages 330 Retirement Living communities – including Castle Gate which is situated adjacent to Monument Place in Salisbury.
