The UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities, McCarthy Stone, has officially announced the name of its latest Retirement Living development in Abergavenny as Plas Elyrch.
The name, which means “Swan’s Hall” in Welsh, pays tribute to the site of the development, formerly known as Swan Meadow.
Once complete, Plas Elyrch will provide everything the over 60s could want for an enjoyable and independent retirement. The development is just a three-minute walk from Abergavenny High Street with its range of supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as being ideally located for travel further afield with both the train station and bus station within just one mile.
