McCarthy Stone, the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, announces that its three new regional offices have opened today, the 1st of September. The Company has appointed three Regional Managing Directors to head the new offices, which will be located in the North West, South West, and East Midlands.

The news follows the success of the launch of McCarthy Stone’s North London region last summer, which was the Company’s first new regional office for 14 years. Since its launch, the North London team has achieved 16 land exchanges and made significant progress selling off-plan at its first development in Southend, which takes first occupations in November 2015.

The Company is strengthening its regional presence with the creation of these new regional offices, each with an experienced senior management team, who together with sales and land acquisition specialists will spearhead growth.

Currently operating across six regions, the new structure will see the existing North, South West and Midlands regions each divided into two more concentrated regions, to take the total number of regional offices to nine.

Clive Fenton, McCarthy Stone’s Chief Executive Officer, said:

“With the growing demand for high-quality retirement housing and our land pipeline in excess of five years’ supply, we are focussing on the expansion of our business to meet this unprecedented growth opportunity.  We are delighted with the appointment of our three dedicated Regional Managing Directors.  With their extensive sector and housebuilding experience, they will be an excellent addition to McCarthy Stone as we continue to implement our growth plan.

“This builds on the opening of our new North London region which has delivered a very strong performance in its first year.  Its 16 land exchanges in first-class locations in and around the M25 and affluent areas of the Home Counties leave it superbly placed to support our long-term growth objectives”.
