McCarthy Stone, the housebuilder behind Jupiter House Retirement Living development which is currently under construction on Lichfield Down, Walnut Tree, has gifted a Christmas tree to Bletchley and Fenny Stratford to help spread festive cheer to local people.
Thanks to their donation, the Christmas tree will sit pride of place in Stanier Square, ready for the annual Christmas Celebration which will take place on Saturday 23rd November. At 5pm, the Christmas Tree Lights will be switched on by the Chair of the Council, Councillor Angela Kennedy, and Father Christmas.
Julie Ward, National Sales Director for McCarthy Stone, said: “Christmas is a time when communities like Bletchley and Fenny Stratford really come into their own and celebrate. We are pleased to be able to play a part in this year’s festivities and we hope the tree will get everyone who visits the square into the Christmas spirit.
“We’re very much looking forward to becoming an integrated part of the community in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford as we prepare for the opening of our new Jupiter House development next year.”
Comprising a collection of luxury Retirement Living apartments for the over 60s, Jupiter House will offer retirees the opportunity to downsize and maintain an active, independent lifestyle, surrounded by like-minded individuals. Jupiter House will be available to buy off-plan in Spring 2020 and first occupants are expected in Autumn 2020.
Retirement Living provides an ideal downsizing option for older people seeking the privacy and independence that comes with owning your own home, but with additional help and support on-hand if required.
The development will feature a Club Lounge; ideal for socialising with friends; landscaped gardens in which to relax; and a comfortable Guest Suite, should residents have friends or relatives to stay. A dedicated House Manager will take care of the day-to-day running of the development; while a secure entry system and 24-hour emergency call points will provide added peace-of-mind.
Located in the quiet residential area of Walnut Tree, future residents will have access to a range of local amenities. For those who love spending time outdoors, Caldecotte Lake is less than a mile away from Jupiter House, and offers aces of stunning parkland, as well as a great place for birdwatching.
This Christmas, McCarthy Stone is hosting free ‘At-Home’ Christmas events at selected developments up and down the country. The events have been designed to bring people together to celebrate the festive season, along with a glass of mulled wine, indulgent treats and a seasonal soundtrack.
