Barnsley is nestled in the foothills of the Peak District, half way between Leeds and Sheffield. It’s a historic town which thrived during the industrial revolution, and which still maintains a strong community today. The town centre has plenty of amenities, including a wide variety of high street shops, banks, pharmacies, a Post Office, supermarkets, and hairdressers, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants. There are also excellent public transport connections to surrounding towns and cities.
