It prides itself on fantastic local produce from Blythburgh pork to organic vegetables.
Of course, there are plenty of other retailers selling everything you could need, including a beautiful bookshop. Halesworth has a reputation for antiques and vintage treasures – visit the matchless Blackdog Antiques housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building and watch out for the Halesworth Antiques Street Market in the summer.

It has around 44 acres of grazing marsh and flood plains and is a haven for wildlife including owls and otters. It’s a lovely spot for a walk, has a hide and a community orchard and also hosts events and the annual Winter Lights Festival. Next door you’ll find pretty Halesworth Town Park which has walkways and a children’s play area. And if you like to hit balls while you stroll, Halesworth Golf Club is set in 200 acres of glorious countryside.
