While the famous 15th-century Ampthill Castle is unfortunately no longer here, you can still visit the remaining ponds and Ampthill Park, which now stands on the old grounds. The park features work from the renowned landscaper Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and the grand Ampthill Park House, built in 1686.
