Things to do in Corby
On the outskirts of Corby town centre you’ll find Hazel and Thoroughsale Woods and King's Wood Nature Reserve, which are part of an ancient woodland called Rockingham Forest. Once hunting grounds for Royalty, these are now packed with wildlife and are brilliant places to explore. Next to Hazel Wood is Corby Boating Lake – great for walking and fishing and with a popular café. English Heritage’s Elizabethan Kirby Hall makes for a lovely day out in the area, as does the stately Deene Park which has been owned by the Brudenell family since 1514.
