Councillor Wendy Rider joined local retirees in Bedford to celebrate the grand opening of McCarthy Stone’s new Retirement Living Plus development, Oakhill Place, on High View.
As McCarthy Stone’s guest of honour, Councillor Wendy Rider took a tour of the development and met the on-site team.
Local retirees who attended on the day were among the first to take a closer look at the professionally-styled show complex at Oakhill Place. They also had the opportunity to find out more about Retirement Living Plus, and to meet the friendly McCarthy Stone team while enjoying a celebratory glass of fizz.
Visiting the development for the first time, Councillor Wendy Rider commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to mark the official opening of McCarthy Stone’s new development in Bedford, and to meet with residents and staff. It was great to see the Oakhill Place development first-hand and the many benefits it will bring to local retirees.”
