There are plenty of walking and cycling trails in and around the town too, whether you fancy a riverside stroll along the banks of the River Erme, tranquil rambles through the Longtimber Woods or a trip up to West Beacon for spectacular views. Ivybridge is also known as the gateway to the Dartmoor National Park with its famous wild ponies.
