Good tidings to McCarthy Stone from local schools
In 2020, schools around the UK forged connections and lifted spirits by sending special deliveries of beautiful homemade cards filled with festive messages to homeowners at McCarthy Stone Retirement Living developments. And as a thank you, delighted homeowners sent the children bags of chocolate coins - which went down pretty well too!
Crowthorne C of E Primary School sent over 70 cards to homeowners in Birch Place retirement properties, Crowthorne, Berkshire.
Year 6 pupils from St Andrew’s C of E Primary School shared cheery messages with homeowners at Thorneycroft, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.
And a box of Christmas cards made by the Year 6 pupils at St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School brought joy to Brindley Gardens, Codsall, Straffordshire.
Lancer House Retirement Living Plus development in Colchester, Essex were sent more than 90 cards from Hamilton Primary School pupils.
The Apartments at Royal Gardens, Buntingford, Hertfordshire, received a special delivery from Layston C of E First School pupils.
Swinden Court Retirement Living development Darlington, County Durham, received over 40 cards from St Augustine's RC Primary School pupils.
And Rogerson Court, Pocklington were sent more than 40 cards from Pocklington Community Junior School.
