First Birthday Celebrations for Worthing Retirement Developments
Local retirees enjoyed an afternoon to remember at McCarthy Stone’s Worthing retirement developments on Heene Road, Neptune House and Triton House, when residents celebrated their first birthdays.
Residents from the Neptune House Retirement Living Plus development joined together with the Triton House Retirement Living retirees in the communal lounge to mark the milestone with a socially distanced party. The celebrations were led by a member of The Silhouette Show trio, who performed music from a bygone era from the 1900’s – 1960’s, while attendees enjoyed BBQ food, a birthday cupcake and drinks. Everyone raised a glass to toast a successful first year living at Neptune House and Triton House, and to the new-found friends they have made at the developments.
Vanessa Simpson, Estate Manager at Neptune House who helped organise the birthday celebrations, said: “It was wonderful to be able to commemorate this important first anniversary for both Neptune House and Triton House. It’s been such a memorable year; and our residents have, without a doubt, made the developments become such a thriving community they are today. We look forward to celebrating many more years to come!”
