Improving community living for seniors

The McCarthy & Stone Foundation
Our Foundation helps charities and organisations to change lives across the UK for the better while strengthening links between generations. We provide grants to causes that champion the health and wellbeing of older people in the community and support community spaces and activities that bring people together across age groups.
Our partnership with Homes England
We are pleased to partner with Homes England to deliver the Older People’s Shared Ownership (OPSO) scheme, helping make retirement communities more accessible and affordable for older people.
Our sustainability initiatives
Our Sustainability Strategy has four sustainability imperatives: creating communities, sustainable living, developing people and building clean and green. Our objectives include Net Zero Carbon for all new buildings by 2030 and net biodiversity gain at all new sites from 2023. Together, these help us create senior communities that positively impact our homeowners, wider society and the environment.
