Lifestyle & Companionship Support Offer – Full Terms & Conditions

1. Offer eligibility

The offer is available to new tenants who commence a qualifying tenancy at a participating McCarthy & Stone rental development on or before 31 January 2027. It is not available to existing tenants.

2. Value of the offer

At participating Retirement Living developments, each eligible tenant can receive up to £780 of funded Lifestyle & Companionship Support.

At participating Retirement Living Plus developments, each eligible tenant can receive up to £390 of funded Lifestyle & Companionship Support.

A maximum of two tenants per property may benefit from the offer. Therefore, the maximum available value per qualifying property is £1,560 at an Retirement Living development or £780 at an Retirement Living Plus development.

3. Offer period

All Lifestyle Services hours provided as part of the offer must be used within three months of the qualifying tenancy commencing. Any unused hours or allowance will expire at the end of that three-month period.

4. No minimum tenancy term

There is no minimum tenancy term associated specifically with this promotional offer. The tenancy remains subject to the applicable tenancy agreement and its terms.

5. Lifestyle & Companionship Support

The funded allowance can be used towards flexible, non-regulated Lifestyle & Companionship Support. Services may include:

• Housekeeping and cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Shopping and practical errands
• Everyday household support
• Paperwork and general practical assistance
• Companionship and social connection
• Accompanied appointments, outings and activities
• General lifestyle and wellbeing support

The mix of eligible services can be agreed with each tenant and can change during the three-month period, subject to their remaining allowance. The original partnership proposal establishes these eligible service categories.

6. Regulated care

The offer does not include regulated care activities. Where a tenant's needs extend beyond the Lifestyle & Companionship Support available through the offer, additional assessment and/or care services may be required.

7. Existing tenants

The promotion is available to qualifying new tenants only and is not available retrospectively to existing tenants.

8. Other promotional offers

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

9. No cash alternative

The offer provides funded Lifestyle & Companionship Support and is not a cash payment. There is no cash alternative for unused services or allowance.

10. Availability

Lifestyle & Companionship Support is subject to service availability. Individual services and appointment times may vary.

11. Transferability

The offer is personal to the eligible tenant and cannot be transferred, exchanged, resold or gifted.

12. General

The offer does not guarantee acceptance for a tenancy. All applications remain subject to McCarthy & Stone's usual rental application and tenancy requirements.
