Living in Stockport

Hazel Grove is a town flourishing. It offers excellent shopping opportunities and holds various annual events throughout the year. In Hazel Grove you'll find a mix of independent and high-street retailers interspersed with delicatessens and specialist food shops, and it has a thriving cafe culture.

Each year brings Hazel Grove's schedule of fantastic local events. In the spring, you can attend - or perhaps even take part in - the town's competitive music festival for instrumentalists and vocalists, which is open to all ages. As the sun (hopefully!) starts to make more of an appearance, Hazel Grove's glorious summer fair comes to town. Enjoy everything you'd expect from a quintessential English fair, from stalls and a tombola to raffles and fairground rides. And the summer also sees Hazel Grove hosting its well-renowned carnival parade, where more than 50 acts, groups, bands, dancers and schools perform.

What's more, Stockport town centre is less than 2 miles away. Here you can make the most of the huge indoor and outdoor market held multiple times a week. Stockport also hosts a vintage fair on the second Sunday of every month.
