Wiltshire's Cathedral City is now an even more attractive location for retirement, with the addition of a McCarthy & Stone Retirement Living development, Castle Gate. There's always plenty to see and do, from catching a theatre show at Salisbury Playhouse to taking a stroll through Queen Elizabeth Gardens and Churchill Garden.

The impressive and historic Salisbury Cathedral towers over the city - home to the best preserved copy of the Magna Carta. History lovers will also have plenty to admire at Salisbury Museum and The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum, only 0.7 miles away from the McCarthy & Stone development on foot.
