As the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, this town also hosts a wide variety of leisure facilities including a bowling green, golf course and tennis courts.

Glasgow in the West of Scotland is also a good location with the desirable area of Giffnock in the south of the city is an ideal location to spend later life with a variety of nearby amenities including supermarkets, pharmacy and the world famous Whole Foods Market.

The West of Scotland also boasts a variety of other charming towns including Clarkston, Paisley and Bishopbriggs, all of which are central to local amenities and a variety of leisure facilities including bowling greens, golf clubs and tennis courts. Hamilton is also a flourishing town and has undergone a significant amount of development.
