It’s an affordable approach to owning a stunning new retirement home:
- You may be able to access cash tied up in your existing property (known as ‘equity release’)
- You can choose to buy a bigger percentage of the property in the future – this reduces the rent you pay
- If you want, we can buy your existing property as a part exchange
- You’ll be eligible for our free Smooth Move removal service, plus a contribution to legal and estate agent fees
The rent is set at the point of purchase. Annual rent review on the date specified in your lease will be indexed to movements in the Retail Price Index (RPI) subject to a minimum 0.5%. RPI has been in the range c.1-4% since 2013 and was 3.3% in March 2018. 3.3% is equivalent to an extra £1.98 per week for typical rent of £60 per week.

Living in Macclesfield
A jewel in Macclesfield's crown, Capesthorne Hall is a family-owned Jacobean-style stately home set in 100 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside. Built between 1719 and 1732, the house is open to the public, where you can marvel at its historical paintings, marble sculptures, antique furniture and 16th-century stained glass windows. The grounds also offer a tranquil setting for an afternoon stroll, with three lakes, formal gardens, an ice house and woodland walks, among other delights. The hall is also the setting for two more of Macclesfield's annual festivals. Rewind is an 80s festival featuring iconic performances and themed venues, while Classic Ibiza sees classic Ibiza anthems played by the Urban Soul Orchestra with a live DJ and internationally renowned vocalists.
Fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities abound in Macclesfield Forest and the nearby Teggs Nose Country Park. Both are great for walking, horse riding, cycling and fishing. Macclesfield Forest is also an excellent place for bird watching, with the Peak District's largest heronry at Trentabank Reservoir, and Teggs Nose offers stunning views across the Cheshire Plain.
And just a 20-minute drive from Macclesfield is Jodrell Bank, the home of the giant Lovell Telescope. The striking white bowl of this radio telescope is 75m in diameter and can be seen for many miles around! Visit the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre to explore the wonders of the universe and learn more about the workings of the telescope. Plus, Jodrell Bank is also the venue of the annual Bluedot Festival, celebrating music, science, art, technology and space exploration. Enjoy fantastic music alongside live science experiments and expert talks.
The development is 0.3 miles from the beautiful West Park. Here, you can explore the community parkland and West Park Museum or visit the ornamental gardens and picnic area.
There are plenty of amenities nearby and the nearest supermarket, Sainsbury's, is just 0.2 miles away. Plus, if you want to travel further afield, you are only 0.6 miles from Macclesfield Train Station.
