Middlewich retirement community champions true spirit of Christmas to ensure no child goes without

Helping to spread the magic of Christmas this holiday season, the team at Roman Court joined forces with Middlewich Town Council to create a magical grotto, whilst donating £500 to make sure that no child goes without.

The McCarthy Stone retail unit on Wheelock Street was transformed into Santa’s workshop, with local children invited to meet the big man himself and receive a present from his hard-working team of elves. The grotto, which was free to all families, featured as part of the Middlewich Christmas light switch on, which marked the official start of the festivities in Cheshire.

Louise Flynn, Divisional Marketing Manager at McCarthy Stone, said: “Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas, but as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, many families will find the holiday season challenging. At McCarthy Stone, we’re committed to engaging with the communities close to our developments, and at a time of goodwill and giving back, we’re delighted to lend our support to Middlewich and ensure no child goes without this Christmas.”

Roman Court consists of 50 one and two-bedroom low-maintenance apartments along with state-of-the-art facilities to create a unique brand of retirement living in the local area with independence and community at its heart.

Ideal for forging new friendships, on-site amenities include beautiful landscaped gardens, and a well-appointed lounge where homeowners can enjoy a host of social activities, from film nights and cocktail evenings to music and yoga.

For peace of mind, a House Manager is on-hand 24-hours a day to oversee the running of the development, while a 24/7 emergency call system and door camera entry provide additional reassurance.
