By retiring to our Stirling development, you?ll find yourself just half a mile from a small but bustling city centre. Stirling?s fascinating history gels seamlessly with its contemporary culture, meaning there?s always something new to try, see or do. The development will be in a prime location, boasting open views east towards the Wallace Monument and, from the first floor and up, magnificent views of Stirling Castle to the west. The site is also directly opposite the entrance to the ?Back Walk?, a small winding path offering spectacular views as it follows the old city walls up to the castle.

Both one- and two-bed apartments will be available in this Retirement Living development, where all homeowners will have access to a tastefully decorated communal lounge and beautifully landscaped garden ? great places for socialising with neighbours. All security and management issues will be taken care of, with a House Manager overseeing the development day-to-day, a 24-hour emergency call line and a camera entry system. What?s more, the development will be fully accessible for all, with lifts to all floors.

With car parking and a scooter and cycle store, we?ll have all your modes of transport covered. There?s also a bus stop right outside the site and the railway station is just half a mile away. And, when you thought the location couldn?t be any more convenient, the site is directly next door to a health centre and there?s a large supermarket only a 5-minute walk away.

THE LOCAL AREA

Living in Stirling

From the excellent eateries, superb shopping and diverse arts and cultural offerings of the city centre to the enchanting historic Old Town, there?s truly something for everyone in Stirling. One of Scotland?s most distinctive landmarks, the Wallace Monument boasts stunning views across Stirling and overlooks the setting of Scotland?s renowned victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Wander around fascinating exhibits and displays following the life and story of one of Scotland?s most famous sons, Sir William Wallace.

Sitting atop an extinct volcano, Stirling Castle is one of Scotland?s most popular visitor attractions, and it?s easy to see why. Magnificently preserved and restored, take an audio guide tour of this site of historical importance. Catch glimpses into the lives of the Scottish kings and queens of the past, including one of its most famous inhabitants, Mary Queen of Scots. Built between 1724 and 1791, the Back Walk (whose entrance sits opposite our development site) is the oldest publicly maintained road in Scotland. Rising uphill to the castle then running around the base of Castle Rock and back up to the Old Town, it is regarded as one of Europe?s finest urban walkways. Take in marvellous views while walking this path or relaxing on the plentiful seating provided along the way.

And with Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park less than half an hour away by car, you couldn?t ask for a better opportunity to spend more time in the great outdoors. Boasting some of Scotland?s most dramatic and inspirational scenery, and being home to an abundance of wildlife, it truly is an awe-inspiring place to visit. From walking and cycling to water sports and fishing, you?ll find a wealth of outdoor activities on and around the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
