Set in Worcestershire in the West Midlands, between Worcester, Bromsgrove and Birmingham, the town of Redditch has a long and interesting history. In the 19th century, 90% of the world's needles were made in the town. You can find out more about the rich industrial heritage at the Forge Mill Needle Museum. Other historic attractions include the 11th century Bordesley Abbey and the remains of the medieval ‘Moons Moat’.

Nowadays, Redditch has everything you need for a happy retirement, with plentiful shops, supermarkets, eateries and amenities.
