Purley has a bustling yet charming town centre where you’ll find all the amenities you could hope for: large supermarkets and small independent shops, high-street favourites and one-of-a-kind boutiques, pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants. There’s also several banks, a Post Office and even a public library (which hosts regular events for the community). You’ll also find the leisure centre on the high street, where over-60s swim for free. For those who play a sport, Purley Sports Club is just a mile from the development. Here you can join as a member for a particular sport, including bowls, cricket, squash and tennis, and discounts are offered for joining up for two or more. There’s even a dance studio that holds a variety of classes, including ballroom tuition.
