Preston is surrounded by parks and green spaces. Guild Wheel walking and cycling path runs through Avenham and Miller Parks beside the River Ribble. Brockholes offers a lovely wetland and woodland nature reserve with a floating visitor centre, plus there a many attractive golf clubs in the area, with Preston Golf Club being the closest to our retirement properties for sale in Preston.
Our Shared Ownership retirement homes are well served by transport links. The M6 and M55 surround the town making it easy to drive around the North West and beyond. You can reach the coast at Lytham St Annes or Blackpool in around half an hour in a car or in around an hour from Preston train station. The great cities of Manchester and Liverpool are also easily accessible, making this a brilliant spot for an active retirement.
