About Retirement Living
Enjoy all the benefits of a McCarthy & Stone retirement community without having to sell your property. You can move in quickly, knowing there’s long-term security with one of our Assured Tenancies and settle in to your new home with minimum fuss. A rent to buy option is also available, so you can really try the lifestyle before you buy.
Part buy, part rent
Enjoy the lifestyle without committing to the full purchase price, giving you more financial flexibility for the future.
Our House Manager brings a big smile on everybody’s face because she’s so good at organising things for us and keeping us all happy. We had a lovely musical night, we all sat watching a video of Andrew Ray and we had our lovely glasses of wine and nibbles.
Living in Newark Marina
Newark is a busy market town situated twenty miles to the North East of Nottingham. Sitting on the banks of the River Trent the town is full of pretty former mill buildings that have now been converted into sought after flats and waterside restaurants. At the heart of the town you'll find the bustling market square which regularly plays host to traditional markets and events. The town centre also features a variety of national retailers including Marks & Spencer, WH Smith, Burtons, Boots and Waitrose. There are also a variety of local and independent traders including butchers, grocers, florists and cafes.
Newark also offers a range of fun activities for all ages. Pay a visit to the beautiful Southwell Minister, one of Britain's few surviving Norman churches. For history buffs, pay a visit to the Workhouse and learn more about the lives of those who were forced to work to pay for their living during the Victorian era.
