OVER 20% OF APARTMENTS RESERVED IN THE FIRST WEEK FOR NEW MCCARTHY STONE DEVELOPMENT IN HARROGATE
Interest in the McCarthy Stone Retirement Living Plus development on Wetherby Road in Harrogate has been high, and last week over 20% of apartments were reserved following a successful sales launch event held at The Old Swan Hotel, which saw over 200 attendees turn out.
This was the first opportunity for retirees to secure an apartment at the new development named Matcham Grange, which comes with its own licenced bistro, beautiful gardens and stylish communal lounge.
With construction well underway, McCarthy Stone expects reservations to continue thick and fast in the run-up to the festive period, as more retirees look to what the future holds.
Declan Fishwick, Marketing Executive for McCarthy Stone, comments: “It is no surprise that given Matcham Grange’s impressive location it has performed so well at sales launch. We believe developments such as these can play a really positive role for the wider community too. With the population of Harrogate expected to increase to 170,300 by 2030, this will put an inevitable amount of pressure on the local housing supply, meaning there will be too few properties for people’s needs. By moving to a McCarthy Stone development, local housing is then freed up for couples and families looking to move up the property ladder and we’ve seen this have a positive effect on the general housing chain.
“We would urge anyone interested not to miss out on securing your dream apartment at this stunning development, the perfect place for spending your retirement years.”
