Living in Poole

Conveniently located between Poole and Bournemouth, Penn Hill has some of Dorset’s most spectacular land- and seascapes on its doorstep.

A peaceful half-hour walk along Branksome Chine or a 5-minute car journey takes you to the coast, where you can enjoy glorious Blue Flag beaches stretching for seven uninterrupted miles from Sandbanks through Bournemouth and beyond. Sandbanks itself is a picturesque historic town with a bustling quayside, brimming with great bars and restaurants. For a fun day out for all the family, Bournemouth is the place to be, being Dorset’s largest resort.

As well as being a water sports hotspot, Poole Harbour is a fantastic place to spot local wildlife and, what’s more, is a gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Stretching across 95 miles of the coastline, the Jurassic Coast is a treasure trove of fossils, dramatic scenery and fascinating museums.

And, for the golfers among you, Parkstone Golf Club is only a mile away from the development site. This course, ranked in the top 100 in Great Britain and Ireland, is a stunning heathland course interspersed with tranquil lakes and clusters of mature pines. With panoramic views across Poole Harbour, it is truly a beautiful course to play.
