Samaritans Swindon & District Branch receives vital boost from McCarthy Stone Foundation
The McCarthy Stone Foundation recently donated £500 to the Swindon & District Samaritans to help support its efforts in providing emotional support for individuals struggling to cope.
The Swindon & District Samaritans is run entirely by local volunteers and offers a free, safe place for people to talk about whatever is troubling them.
The money from the McCarthy Stone Foundation will help the branch generate more awareness materials and equipment in a bid to progress fundraising.
Bowls Club Winner
Part of McCarthy Stone’s Community Partnership with Westlecot Bowling Club included sponsorship of the prestigious Open Singles Tournament, held recently at the Club in Swindon. The event has been running since 2010 and has attracted many of the World’s Top 16 ranked players.
