BBC Antiques Expert officially opens new Whitley Bay Retirement Community
BBC TV antiques expert David Harper officially opened a new retirement community in Whitley Bay.
David set his seal of approval on the Elderton Place Retirement Living Plus development. He was joined by current and prospective homeowners for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to begin the launch celebrations at the development on Coquet Avenue.
Homeowners and guests enjoyed a talk from David, where he shared more about his life and career, as well as telling them more about the background of their treasured possessions.
