Mayor of Warminster joined by celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock and local retirees celebrate the official opening of Crescent Place.

Local retirees gave a warm welcome to TV personality, Charlie Dimmock and the Mayor of Warminster who joined them to celebrate the official opening of a new Retirement Living development on Portway.
Charlie, who stars in the BBC’s popular Garden Rescue show, led the celebrations at Crescent Place, where the popular gardening gurugave an exclusive demonstration on creating the perfect potted plant display, before both Charlie and the Mayor of Warminster, Philip Keeble, performed a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
Guests at the event spent time getting to know Charlie as part of a candid Q&A session in the beautiful communal lounge over a glass of fizz and delicious light-bites, before taking a guided tour of the superb facilities within the community.
Commenting on her visit, Charlie said: “I was delighted to be invited to Crescent Place for the official opening. It was so wonderful to meet with all the new homeowners and their guests and to be a part of the celebrations here in Warminster.”
Mayor of Warminster Cllr Phil Keeble added: “Engaging with the communities in Warminster is always a pleasure and the official opening event at Crescent Place was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the celebrations.”
