Crescent Place raises £556 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Staff and homeowners at the McCarthy Stone Retirement Living development, recently welcomed local residents, family, and friends for the annual fundraiser in aid of people affected by cancer.
Macmillan Cancer Support, which is 98% funded by voluntary donations, will use the money towards various initiatives, including running its online community, paying for a Macmillan Grant – which covers costs, such as travel to hospital and energy bills – and paying for a Macmillan nurse to help people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical, and emotional support.
Warminster Bowls Club Donation
A bowls club in Warminster has received a £500 boost from Crescent Place towards the projects to improve its facilities.
