BBC Antiques Expert, David Harper pays Gosforth a special visit for the Grand Opening.
Gosforth retirees were delighted to welcome the fabulous David Harper to officially open Clothier Manor on Hollywood Avenue.
Taking lead of the celebrations, the BBC antiques expert performed a special ribbon-cutting ceremony after sharing details of his illustrious career.
Guests at the event, included the new proud homeowners of Clothier Manor as well as Nigel Clothier, a relative of local engineer and inventor, Henry William Clothier, whom the development is named after. The guests spent time chatting to David whilst enjoying a light buffet and celebratory drinks with some live jazz, before taking a guided tour of the superb facilities within the community.
Commenting on his visit, David Harper said "I was delighted to be invited to Clothier Manor for the Grand Opening. it was so wonderful to meet with all the homeowners and their guests and an absolute joy to be part of the celebrations here in Gosforth".
