With a cosy, small town atmosphere, Stow-on-the-Wold is perhaps the best known of the local market towns in the beautiful Cotswolds area. The main shopping area of the town, known as the Market Square, offers a fantastic testimony to the area’s historical importance. Wander the surrounding streets for a look at the elegant array of original town houses and beautifully preserved architecture.
With an enviable location along the route of the Fosse Way, the town offers fantastic access to the local area and is just 19 miles to Cheltenham and 30 miles to the stunning historical city of Oxford. The neighbouring town of Moreton-in-Marsh has a main line train service which runs to London Paddington in under two hours. Regular bus services run from the Market Square to Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden and Northleach.
A large Tesco supermarket can be found just over half a mile away for larger shopping trips and the closest GP surgery is 400 metres away through the town square. Thanks to a wealth of fantastic road links, the development is also conveniently located for access to a wealth of neighbouring towns and cities including Gloucestershire, Lower Oddington, Cheltenham, Northleach, Broadway and Chipping Norton.
