Living in Billericay
Billericay is a lovely Essex town, known for its rich history and green open spaces. There are many period houses from the Georgian and Tudor eras, such as the former library, Burghstead Lodge, in the high street, which is one of the best examples of the architectural style. You can even download a map for a self-guided historic building walk! Just opposite the McCarthy & Stone development is the Billericay Cricket Club and Football Club, and the nearby 40-acre Lake Meadows parks makes for a nice leisurely stroll.
There’s always something to do in Billericay. You’ll find most of the shops, restaurants and friendly pubs just a stone’s through away on the high street, including a supermarket and several banks. Community events such as markets, shows and exhibitions are held on a regular basis, both in Billericay itself and in the surrounding towns. It’s easy to get around, with a bus stop just 0.1 miles from your own front door.
Located on London Road, this development is only 360 feet from a local convenience shop and just 0.2 miles from Billericay Lawn Tennis Club.
In the centre of Billericay, which is only 0.6 miles away, there is a Waitrose supermarket and a range of shops. The train station is also only 0.8 miles from the development.
Further afield, the towns of Basildon and Brentwood are 6 miles away, offering many parks, shops and restaurants.
