A vibrant market town in north-west Leicestershire, Ashby De La Zouch has a long and proud history. The town fell under the possession of the La Zouch family, who gave it its name, during the reign of Henry III, with Ashby De La Zouch castle built in the 12th Century.
Ashby De La Zouch also boasts great proximity to surrounding cities and places of interest. Leicester is just 17 miles to the east, while Nottingham is 20 miles north and Birmingham 28 miles south. Transport links to these areas are plentiful with good access to the M42 available and plenty of public transport links. These include train connections from the local station which can reach Birmingham in just half an hour and London in 1.5 hours.
Our Ashby De La Zouch development will be located just off of Market Street – the central shopping hub of the town. Shops, cafes, restaurants and the Market Hall are all 50 metres away and sell a wide range of produce. Other local conveniences include a nearby doctor’s surgery and Hood Park Leisure Centre which hosts badminton, table tennis, bowls and many other sports.
