Success with this year's Pride in the job awards

At McCarthy & Stone we are proud of our developments and the high-quality build that our customers have come to expect from us.

We’re delighted that the National Housing Building Council (NHBC) has this year recognised three of our site managers for Pride in the Job awards. These awards highlight the highest standards in construction and show our homeowners that they are buying a high quality product.

The Pride in the Job quality awards are run as part of the NHBC’s campaign to reward the best site managers in the UK, and are only awarded after a year of strict judging, including spot checks on the day-to day running of the sites and each candidate being assessed across 38 areas of site management.

We would like to congratulate Carl Lamb, who was the site manager for Mallory Court in Skipton and Iain Malvern, our site manager for Queen Elizabeth Court in Lancashire.

Carl was also a Pride in the Job winner at our Scarborough development last year and went on to win the Seal of Excellence and attend the National Awards ceremony in London.

Our third winner is Dean Main, who managed Eversley Court, Seaford in the South East region.  He not only won this award, but has also been nominated for the prestigious award of Construction Manager of the year sponsored by the Charted Institute of Building.

Well done to our three winners.
